I am so sorry to hear of Stan's death - he was a great man, husband and father. I will never forget the adventure my brothers (Chris and Gary Hartson) and I enjoyed when we visited our Northern cousins (Stan and Barbara) back in 1979 - we had a great time, due, in great part, to Stan's support of extended family members. My heartfelt condolences to the wonderful Swiss family.

I will surely miss Stan, he was a friend and mentor, my friends father and my fathers friend. I have fond memories fishing with him in Alaska and hunting with him in Beaver River. I am sad as we all get on in age but it is less when I think of the many good times with Stan around

Dear Barbara and Family, I remember Stan as such an energetic and cheerful man who loved his family and his trips to Alaska. May those good memories sustain you at this sad time. With my deepest sympathy and empathy (from one who has walked a similar road). Please keep in touch. Love, Marie

When we think of Stan we think of a big strapping guy without a mean bone in his body and the world's best attitude for living. Our families have known each other for as long as I can remember and in fact became one when Rusty and Ginger - childhood sweethearts - were married thirty years ago. In all of that time, I don't remember Stan being angry...a little annoyed once in a while, but not for long. A good, good man who will be missed by all. Godspeed.
