Jacqueline Marie died suddenly on July 3, 2012 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jackie, born in Rome, NY, graduated from Rome Free Academy. She loved spending time with her family, and her longtime companion, Fred Santos. Jackie was an ardent Yankees and Phillies fan, a talented cook and an animal lover who was devoted to her dogs, Buddy and Pal.
Survived by her sisters Christine (Gregory) Torre, Patricia (Tom) Bates, Anne (Jack) Stocum, Judy (Gary) Baron and Ci (Brian) Hoehn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, Sarah, Joseph and Rebecca Torre; Richard Luke (Jennifer) Schaub, Kaitlin and Kimberly Bates; Eileen and David Stocum; Sean (Jamie), Daniel and Jacob Baron; Eric and Luke Hoehn and grandniece Avery Caroline Schaub. Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Geraldine (nee Lemon) Smith and brother Neil Smith.
Viewing will be Saturday, July 7th, 9:00-10:00 A.M., Barry Funeral Home, 807 West Chestnut St, Rome, NY. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 A.M, St. Peter's Church, 105 E. Liberty St, Rome, NY. Interment will take place at St. Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery, Woods Rd, Whitesboro, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Humane Society.
