Peter Melnick, age 63, of Ranney Road, Taberg, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2018.
Peter was born in Rome on April 10, 1955 to the late John and Beverly Melnick. He was employed at Revere Copper for many years, retiring due to health issues. He was an avid Utica Comets fan for many years and also enjoyed NASCAR.
Peter is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Caleb) Rice of Wesley Chapel, FL; three granddaughters, Samantha, Arabella, and Julia; his life partner, Darleen of Camden; a sister, Linda Melnick of Charleston, SC; two brothers, John (Deborah) Melnick of Taberg, and James Melnick of Bluffton, SC; an aunt, Helen Baynard; an uncle, Frank Melnick; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11 to 12, prior to the funeral.
