Dear Mary and the entire extended Winberg family, Bob and I were so saddened to learn of Harry's passing. Please know that Harry was such an important person in our lives, the lives of our parents and our children. He will be missed but never forgotten. When we are next in Rome we hope to spend some time with you so we can reminisce about the many wonderful times we enjoyed with you and Harry. Sincerely, Bob and Diane Grabo

While you have many beautiful memories it is never easy to lose someone. We will miss them until we are once more united with them in heaven. Swim classes at the Rome Y lead to a friendship and sharing of our lives. Both our husbands had been in the military and faced many of the same obstacles. Harry proudly served his country and for we are eternally grateful. Please extend our sympathy to your entire family.

Harry, you were like a third grandfather to me and the grandchildren of Dave and Lu Ellison's. Memories of the summers at WEES Bay are some of the happiest of my childhood. We all know I was difficult, but you were always kind and patient with me. You were fascinating, calm, and had a peace about you that I always felt comforted by. I am glad you got to watch me grow up and to meet my Clarky Danger. No one from the Ellison contingency will be able to be at your service as we will all be in Florida celebrating Riva's wedding. I know that you would be happy about this as it is a new chapter unfolding in the circle of life. I like to think that you're at a nice anchorage, enjoying drinks and a sunset with my grandparents and all the friends from your generation who have passed.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Steve's Dad. I haven't known Steve long and didn't know his dad but was very impressed with the life he lived when I read the Obit. My condolences to you all during this sad time.

All of us in the aviation and Rotary Communities are saddened by the loss of Harry Winberg. I admired him especially for his service in the military and to his Rotary Club and the Rotary District, and was always pleased to hear his tales, told with self-effacing good humor. We will miss him but cherish his memory.

So sorry to hear this sad news. My condolences to the entire family. I only knew Harry through QB and always enjoyed his company. Sat next to him at the February hangar gathering. He certainly was a good fellow and great patriot. Gone west but not forgotten!
