Marsha A. Schoff, age 66, of Rome, passed away on June 28, 2017, at Rome Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 9, 1950 in Rome, a daughter of the late Clarence J., and Helen D. Waligory Schoff. Marsha graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1968 and SUNY Oswego in 1972. She taught Global Studies in the West Genesee School District, retiring in 2012. She was a member of St. Mary's/St. Peter's Parish and volunteered for many years at the Mission of the Christ Child at St. Peter's Church.
Marsha is survived by a brother, Charles Schoff of Rome; and two nieces, Heather Schoff and Hali Schoff. She was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Schoff in February 2017.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:15 AM from the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, and a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Philip A. Hearn, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Leyden.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Sunday 2 to 5 PM.
