Obituary of Gary H. Dunn
Gary H. Dunn, age 55, of Camden, passed away April 16, 2012.
He was born December 21, 1956, in Oneida, a son of Donald and Shirley Blowers Dunn, and educated in Camden schools. Gary was united in marriage to the former Margaret I. McDowell, on July 4, 1981, at the Taberg Methodist Church. He was the co-owner of Liberty Fuels and Liberty Sealcoat along with his father.
Gary loved his family and loved the beautiful land and woods where he and Margaret built their home.
He loved his dogs and always considered them as part of the family.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his father and step-mother, Donald and Jesse Dunn of Camden, his father in law, John McDowell of Camden a sister, Laurie Dunn of Utica; step sisters and a brother in law, Becky and Gary Gardner of Camden, and Marlene Hildenbrandt of Camden; sisters in law and brothers in law, Mary and Paul Seibel of Camden, Sue and Jerry Cook of Moorsville, NC, C. Michael and Linda Ray of Charlotte, NC, Karen and Richard Bourgeois of Huntersville, NC, John H. McDowell of Moorsville, NC, and Gabriel Streiff of Floyd; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special great niece, Myah Coady
Graveside services will be held Thursday at Noon at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington's Disease Foundation or the Rome Humane Society.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Rome.
