Rosaleine Y. Marvin, age 71, of Town of Floyd, passed away peacefully April 12, 2012. She was born March 19, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Joseph and Loleitta MacDonald Hagan. Rosaleine was united in marriage to Donald Marvin on October 19, 1963, at Travis Air Force Base, CA. She was a member of the Marcy Seniors. Rosaleine's life revolved around her family. She always supported her children's sports and school activities, and never missed a game. She also loved her dogs and cats and treated them with the same loving care. Rosaleine is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald; a daughter, Donna Evanciew and companion, Daniel West of Rome; a son and daughter in law, Joseph and Joy Marvin of Stuttgard, Germany; a brother, Ralph Hagan of Cherry Hill, NJ; grandchildren Holly, Joshua, Jeffrey and Amber; and great grandchildren, Amerie Rose and Katara; and special friends, Katie Kingsbury and her son, Christopher. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 West Chestnut. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday 4 to 7 PM, prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Floyd or Stittville Volunteer Fire Departments.
