Orlando A. Long, age, 94, of Forestport, and formerly of Syracuse,NY, the father of Rev. Vincent Long, Pastor of St. Leo's-St. Ann's Church in Holland Patent, NY, passed away peacefully October 1, 2011. He was born September 3, 1917, in Proctor, VT, a son of Vincenzo and Marguerita Cuccozzi Long. Orlando was united in marriage to the former, Adeline "Addie" Napoletano, on July 26, 1941, at St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse, a loving marriage of 70 years. Orlando is survived by his loving wife, Addie; a son, Rev. Vincent Long of Holland Patent; a sister, Olga Mangicaro of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and five brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Leo's-St. Ann's Church, Holland Patent, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Syracuse, NY. Relatives and friends may call at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Rome, NY, Tuesday 3 to 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Leo's-St. Ann's Church Memorial Fund.
