Obituary of Jacqueline M. Tennant

Jacqueline "Jackie" M. Tennant, age 52, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jackie was born in Rome on February 5, 1972 to the late Charles and Barbara Jones Gilboy, and graduated from Rome Free Academy. She worked as a cashier at Tops in Camden. She enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was at parties, holidays, fishing, or camping.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Cheyanne (Richard) Farda of Lee Center, and Shari Andrews of Lyons Falls, NY; sons, Charles "CJ" Andrews, Nicholas "Nick" Tennant, Donald Tennant Jr., and Matthew Tennant all of Rome; the love of her life, Donald "DJ" Tennant Sr; grandchildren, Jaidyn, Havannah, Sheylynn, Stephen Jr., Austin, Kaileb, Tori, Ryker, Trenton, and Autumn; her best friend of many years, Millie Baker; and Mark Proper Jr., Louis Arce and Chad Proper whom she loved as her own children, along with Ellie and Belle who were like her granddaughters. She was predeceased by her son, Johnny Wagner.

Jackie’s funeral will be held on Monday at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 6 PM.
