Our family will always remember Father Joe's kindness during times of need especially when he administered last rites for our father. It meant the world to our dad and to us. I also remember a time when invited to his home for a spaghetti dinner that we enjoyed as much as his company. He was a generous man of many talents. It was a honor to have known him. Our sincerest sympathy to his entire family.

Jean:
My condolences on your great loss. I remember the days years ago you lovingly spoke about your brother, Joe and how he was serving God in his priesthood. He was a navy chaplain at the time.
His journey on this earth is now completed, his role as Servant of God has been faithfully realized, and now Fr. Sestito is at the Home for which he was created.
Sincerely,
Jim Dooher

Father Joe lived across the street from me in Raven Rock Estates, Rome, NY.
I had only settled in a couple of days when there was a knock on the door. It was Joe, smiling , saying welcome to the neighborhood and gifted me a loaf of his fresh baked homemade bread. What a treat. I also had the opportunity to view his paintings and was in awe of his wood working craftsmanship. I enjoyed our many visits until I moved to Florida. He was a remarkable, caring and talented man! Condolences to all.
