Obituary of Mary Jane Fuller
Mary Jane Squadrito Fuller, age 54, of Boonville, passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2023, after a courageous seven-year battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
Mary was born in Rome on January 6, 1968, to the late Frederick Sr. and Edith Fountain Squadrito, and educated in the Rome Schools. On November 23, 1985, she was united in marriage to James Fuller. She worked as a cashier at Lowes in Rome for 13 years and was also an assistant troop leader for her daughter and two nieces with the girl scouts of America.
Mary was an avid crafter and bowled in several leagues with James. She also enjoyed geo-cashing trips with her "Wino's," going to the ocean any chance she got, as well as going on adventures with her husband.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James; daughter, Desiree Swancott; son, Jamie L. Fuller; grandson, McKinley Swancott; four sisters, Janet (John) Finley, Paula Foster, Rebecca Squadrito, and Carletta (Angelo) Renzi; brothers, Ralph (Kimberly) Squadrito, and Lyndon Squadrito; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Charles "Beaver," and Frederick "Tom Pepper" Jr.
The family of Mary would like to add a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Faxton-St. Luke's and Slocum Dickson for all their efforts helping Mary with her courageous battle! The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sikder and Deb Iselo, NP for everything they did for Mary during her fight with Breast cancer.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 27, at 5 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 5 PM prior to the service.
