Obituary of Orlando Leo Cross
Orlando Leo Cross, age 44, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
Orlando was born in Utica, New York on May 29, 1979 to Mary Cross.
Graduated from Thomas R. Proctor High School.
He was employed at Oriskany Manufacturing and Technology, Oriskany, New York.
He enjoyed cooking, refurbishing guitars and playing his guitars.
Orlando is survived by his son, Orlando J. (Alyssa Hopkins) Cross; mother, Mary; step-father, Butch Mancuso; his former girlfriend, Kelly Dyette Huddard; step-son, Joe Dyette; his aunts and uncles, Leona Cross and Kevin Howells (Morrisville, NY), Theresa and Joe Bromley (New Town CT), Patricia and Greg Curtin (Burlington, NJ), Regina and Eduardo Jiron (Lincoln, California), and Christina and Kevin Barry (Rome); and cousins; Paul and Erin Bromley, Marc Bromley, Eduardo and Sara Jiron, Vincent Jiron, Andrew Curtin, Mark Barry and Patrick Barry. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Theresa Cross.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 12 Noon, at the Greater Highway Deliverance Temple, 1705 Whitesboro Street, Utica, NY 13502.
