Cindy Lee Stark, age 51, of Rome, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2014 at the Rome Center with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1962 in Malone, NY to James Stark and Beverly Bettencourt. She attended school in Rhode Island. Cindy enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She loved animals of all sorts. She especially loved her family and all her friends at the Rome Center. Cindy is survived by a sister, June M. Webb of Blossvale; two brothers, James E. Stark of NJ, and Steven J. Stark of Utica; three nieces, Melody Avila of Whitesboro, Sherry Webb of Florence, and Nina Horne of Blossvale; a great nephew, Xavier J. Allen; and a special aunt who Cindy always called her guardian angel, Peggy Beasock of Oriskany. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
