William “Bill” A. Leach, III, age 83, of the Town of Lee, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023, at MVHS-St. Luke’s Campus.

 Bill was born in Passaic, NJ, on May 16, 1939, to the late William Jr. and Agnes Moser Leach. He worked his career in construction as a steam fitter and was a member of Pipefitter Local 274 in Parsippany, NJ. He was married to Elizabeth Leach for 46 years until her passing on May 2, 2005. On July 29, 2006, he was united in marriage to the former Sharon Viscusie Millard.

 Bill was a devoted husband and father.

 Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his daughter, Linda (Steve) Wightman; his sons, Daniel (Christine) Leach, David Leach, and Christopher (Loretta) Leach; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two step-children, Scott Millard, and Michelle Millard; his sister, Elaine (Ken) Byrnes, his brothers, Larry (LeaAnne) Leach, and Ken (Jane) Leach; a special cousin, Willa Piplitz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Laura on February 18, 2003; his brother, Lyle Leach; and sister-in-law, Christina Leach.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1 PM, at the Redeeming Love Fellowship Church, 9011 State Route 365, Stittville, NY 13469.

 Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
