To Tony's family and all of our “class of 59” classmates. Words cannot truly express my sorrow at his passing. Over the last 35+ years, when I frequently returned to Rome to visit my extended Italian family, I would have numerous conversations with Tony.. both at our class reunions & the frequent mini-reunions organized by our class matriarch, “Roe”.... and also at ”King's Buffet” on Erie Blvd. where we would often run into ea. other. His upbeat personality, given his many physical difficulties, truly amazed me. Tony always had that familiar “smile” with a “HI JIM!” whenever we saw each other. I know that Tony will look down upon us and, in his own manner, muse at all of the individuals he touched during his life.

Aside from Tony being one of my classmates,he and his wife Barbara'lived next to my brother Carmen for many years.Tony was plagued with many problems after his initial surgery and he had a strong support system from his many friends. He will be missed and anyone who knew this family knows that the love and support he got from them helped him to weather his many setbacks. His wife Barbara was the best nurse anyone can have. We will miss you Tony and I will miss interrupting him doing his lawn and "catching up " whenever I came to town.Rest in peace.

Tony was without a doubt among the most compassionate and caring gentlemen I have ever known. His family and friends were more important to him than life itself. And, he could build just about anything. May he rest in peace.
