Obituary of Maryann Brown

Maryann Brown, age 51, of Spartanburg, S.C., and formerly of Rome, passed away peacefully, March 5, 2022.

 

She was born May 30, 1970, in Rome, a daughter of the late Richard “Frank” and Gloria J. DePasquale Brown.  She was educated in Rome and Atlanta schools. She worked as an operations clerk at NCS Logistics UC Group in Spartanburg.  She previously worked for Fisher Auto Parts and Birnie Bus while in Rome.

 

Maryann was a very amiable person when meeting new people. She would often strike up a conversation with people she met throughout her daily interactions. Many strong friendships developed from these conversations. Maryann was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs. She was also very fond of wolves. She loved the fantasy genre of both books and media. Her favorite director being Joss Weeden. She also played guitar and owned several. Maryann liked to be online, either playing games or just chatting with other people. DILLIGAF!

 

Maryann is survived by her sister, Denise M. Brown and Ronald Wayne Smith of Spartanburg, S.C.; her brother, Brian R. Brown and Carole A Darling of Rome; nephews, Liam and Seneca Brown; and a niece, Molly Brown, all of Rome. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Sunday, March 20, from 2 to 4 PM. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
