Obituary of Dolores A. Davis
Dolores A. “Ann” Davis, age 90, of the Town of Western, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022.
She was born October 29, 1931, in Utica, a daughter of the late Lionel R. and Mary E. Jorgenson Bechard. Dolores was united in marriage to Reginald Davis on October 7, 1950, in Ilion; he died on August 30, 2003. She was the owner/operator of the Delta Lake Trailer Park and Davis R.V. for many years. She also served as tour guide for Birnie Bus Service and owned Ann’s Artic Attic store at the Davis R.V. Center. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and the St. Joseph’s Church Women’s Club and Sleepy Hollow Golf Course.
Dolores is survived by three daughters, Lynn Robinson and partner, William Cullop of Taberg, Wendy Higley of Camden, and Laurie and Wayne Combs of Waldorf, MD; four sons, Wayne and Robin Davis of Westernville, Tracy Davis of Beaver Falls, Timothy and Cheryl Davis of Osceola, and William and Brenda Davis of Westernville; a sister, Julia Soules of Ilion; 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Goodman, and two brothers, L. R. and John Bechard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph’s Church, Lee Center. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.
Relatives and friends may call at Barry Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM.
