I had the privilege of being Barbara's home care nurse for several months. We became friends. We would share our stories of our families, our own lives and also the reality that time was limited for Barbara. We laughed together, shed tears together and sang together. I know that Barbara loved her family above all else and would want them to go on in their lives, caring for her grandchildern and caring about each other. I will miss Barbara and smile whenever I think of her.
