Obituary of Kathleen Goodman

Kathleen Goodman, age 62, of Rome, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2021, at the Oneida Center in Utica.

Kathy was born in Rome on September 28,1958 to William III and Constance Petronella Goodman. She graduated from Rome Catholic High School and received her associates degree from Mohawk Valley Community College. She retired from the federal government where she was head of the agricultural department.


Kathy love crafts and ceramics. She enjoyed collecting antiques and doing projects with her father which included restoring old furniture.


Kathy is survived by her mother Connie; a brother, Daniel (Denise) Goodman of Rome; nieces and nephews, Sarah (Josh) Lee, Samantha (Daniel) White, Christopher Goodman, and Dylan and Hayley Green. She was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Goodman.


Kathy's funeral will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Saint Mary's cemetery.


Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM prior to the funeral.
