Obituary of Agnes C. Reber
Mrs. Agnes C. Reber, age 94, of Rome, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2020, at Bethany Gardens.
Mrs. Reber was born in Taberg on October 18, 1925, to the late Leon and Philomena Bartolewski Prusinowski, and graduated from Camden High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Albert E. Reber, at St. Patrick’s Church in Taberg on August 25, 1945; a blessed union of 60 years until his passing in October of 2005.
Mrs. Reber is survived by her children, Thomas (Alison) Reber of Fulton, Donald (Gail) Reber of Sherrill, Elaine Kerfien of Fulton; and Albert Jr. (Holly) Reber of Camden; 26 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; her sister, Clara Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Diana Pugh Schon, and Kathleen (Clyde) Osborne; grandchildren, Thomas Reber Jr. and twins, Becky and Crystal Reber; her sisters, Helen Deeley, Frances Williams, Mary (Kenneth) Siebel, Sophie “Sally” Stoddard, Theresa “Tessie” (Joseph) Awad, and Lillian Masztak; and her brothers, Frank, Francis, Edward, John and Leon Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Gardens for their care and compassion shown to Mrs. Reber.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Taberg.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM prior to the funeral. Guests are required to wear face coverings and follow the social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church.
