Obituary of Carol A. Camadine
Carol A. Camadine, age 72, of Rome, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2020 at The Grand at Rome.
Carol was born in Little Falls on December 30, 1947 to the late Theron and Helen Shaut Moore, and graduated from Herkimer High School in 1966. On October 14, 1967, she was united in marriage to Raymond “Ray” Camadine. She worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Oriskany for over 20 years, retiring in 2008.
Carol was an avid race car, Yankee, SU, and New Orleans Saints fan. She loved shopping and going to the casino, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ray; a daughter and son in law, Kim and Peter Andrella of Mattydale, NY; a son, Jeff Camadine of New York Mills; her aunts, Blanche Matthews and Doris Shaut; her niece and goddaughter, Ashley Moore; a sister in law, Joanne Moore; Kim’s best friend whom Carol loved as a second daughter, Julie Matt; several cousins; and special friends, Dick Myers, Gail Domion, and Helen Manieri. She was predeceased by her brother, Theron “Sarge” Moore; and a daughter in law, Nancy Camadine.
The family would like to thank Dr. Din and his staff at Slocum-Dickson for their care and compassion shown to Carol.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services at this time will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
