Obituary of Jean Bush
Jean L. Bush, age 85, of Rome, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2020, at home, with her loving family at her side.
She was born June 4, 1934, in Waverly, NY, a daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Scott Randall. She was educated in Waverly schools and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Jean was united in marriage to Donald A. Bush, on July 4, 1953, in Waverly, NY; a blessed marriage of 66 years. She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church.
Jean is survived by her husband, Donald; three sons and two daughters in law, Keith and Susan Bush of Albuquerque, NM, Brian and Eileen Bush of Westmoreland, and Andrew Bush of Lakeside, CA; grandchildren, Kara and Mike Hoffman, Nancy Bush and August Breithaupt, Sarah Bush and Chris Prior, Erin and Josh Gagnon, and Megan Bush and Andrew Surprenant; and three great grandchildren, Leni Callahan, Emma Gagnon, and Kaylee Hoffman. She was predeceased by five sisters, Mary Bartlett, Dorris Gressel, Shirley Young, Flo Ann Randall and Charlene Rodka, and four brothers, Clifford, Roy, Charles, Jr. and John Randall.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice for the care and comfort they provided to Jean in her final days.
Funeral services will be private.
