Obituary of Paul M. Enslin

Paul M. Enslin, age 41, of Rome, passed away peacefully, on December 27, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, from complications following a lung transplant.

 

He was born August 11, 1978, in Rome, a son of Dale Enslin and Ann Marie D’Antonio, and graduated from Rome Free Academy.  Paul was united in marriage to the former Holly Peirce on August 27, 2013, in Rome.  He formerly worked at Turning Stone Casino, the Family Dollar warehouse, and Byrne Dairy, retiring due to illness.

 

Paul was a true sports enthusiast.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, nine-ball pool, online gaming with his friends, and attending Comets hockey games.  He also was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan.

 

Paul is survived by his wife, Holly; sons, Anthony, Zachary, Joel and Ayden; his mother, Ann Marie Hickey of Rome; his grandfather, Francis Daniello; aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his father, Dale Enslin and his step-father, Pat Hickey and brother, David.

 

The funeral service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.

 

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Friday from 3 to 6 PM, prior to the funeral service.
