Back in the late 1960's, I got to know Helen through her brother Dave and daughter Yvonne. I was in a band with Dave and good friends with Yvonne. Over a three or four year period, I had many meals with Helen and Harold. She was an excellent cook. I would meet Yvonne there at their home on a Sunday morning and walk into the smell of the best spaghetti sauce I've ever had and then for supper it was meatball sandwiches with more of that delicious sauce. One time during a huge snow storm, we were snowbound for three days. Some really good memories of Helen and her family.
