Dear Hopkins Family: It does not seem a year since Margaret's passing. I can still hear her hearty laughter. The first year is always the most difficult because you have to experience her birthday, the holidays and other significant and special days without her presence. The greatest comforts to you are the memories with which she blessed you all and your faith which she and your father nurtured you in your growing years that makes you realize she is with the Lord now and eternally. God Bless all of you. Jim Dooher

To Margaret's Family: My sincere condolences on your great loss. I first met Margaret when she became a Board member of Rome Family Services years ago along with her friend Jane Holdridge. Margaret was a likeable, down-to-eath personality and I always enjoyed speaking to her. She was strong in her Faith and was a beautiful example of Catholicity. Now she is in the Home she was destined for. Sincerely, Jim Dooher DeWitt, NY

Margaret Mary, Billy, Therese and John, I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a good friend to our family and always took the time to visit when I came to Rome. My deepest sympathy to all of you at this time.
