Obituary of Cory S. White

Cory S. White, age 40, of Chelsea, MA, and formerly of Rome, passed away August 3, 2011, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Chelsea, MA. He was born June 22, 1971, in Rome, a son of Charles White and Bev Campbell White, and graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1990. Cory was a communications specialist at Spencer Technologies in Worchester, MA. Cory was proud to be an American and very proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps for five years. He loved life, his family and friends and everything that life had to offer, including the joy of riding motorcycles. He was a member of I.A.R.T. (Italian American Racing Team). Cory is survived by his mother, Bev Campbell White of Rome; father and stepmother, Charles and Julie White of Rome; a son, Logan Campbell White of New Bedford, MA; a brother, Troy P. White and companion, Marci Fuller of Rome; grandmother Lucille Dager White of Oriskany; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents, Charles White, Sr, and Elmer and Martha Reber Campbell. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
