Obituary of Gloria Ann Ingham Zielinski

Gloria Ingham Zielinski, age 76, of Rome, passed away peacefully July 4, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with her loving family at her side.
She was born September 20, 1934, in Binghamton, the daughter of John and Susanne Meno Lucas, and educated in Penn Yan schools. Gloria was married to Richard Ingham Sr. She later married Anthony "Bud" Zielinski; he died in 2007. She was a plant operator for the City of Rome Water Department, retiring years ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Church.
Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed the friends she made over the years while swimming at the Family Y and attending events with the Lee Seniors. She was an avid gardener.
Gloria is survived by four sons and four daughters in law, Richard Jr., and Lynn Ingham of Rome, Michael and Sandy Ingham of Rome, Christopher and Rhonda Ingham of Rome, and Thomas "John" and Carola Ingham of Bristow, VA; grandchildren, Jeni, Dan, Debbie, Jason, Sarah, Amanda, Brian, Jenna and Lorenzo; 4 great grandchildren; beloved aunt and uncle, Helen and Bruce Hamilton and children, Bill, Joe and Susan and families; and her Golden Retriever, Charlie.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM, at St. Paul's Church.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rome Humane Society Building Fund.
