Dear Coleen, Cathleen, Blane and family, I was so sorry to read that your Dad passed away. He was a wonderful man and I enjoyed our visits so much. I was looking forward to some walks in the courtyard now that the weather is better and am sad that we won't be able to do that. If you get the chance, could you let me know how he died? I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to the service. Your in my prayers. Love Barb

Bill was my first partner in the BCI in 1960 at New Hartford and we were together later in the SIU. Though we haven't spoken in years I thought of him and old times often. Rest in Peace 1151.

Dear Berry family I wanted to let you know how fond of your father I was. I was a nursing student assigned to your Dad and during the times he let me poke and prod him, he shared family stories, talked about your mother and his work with the NY State troopers,(my son is a criminal justice major and your Dad shared lots of advice that I passed on to my son.) I enjoyed talking with him so much that I found that on the days he was not on my schedule I would make my way down to his room to sit and chat. Your Dad was always good and patient with me and I have often thought about him since then. My deepest sympathies to you all.

I was VERY fond of Uncle Bill and Aunt Elenor. I remember lots of good times, especially their FUN surprise anniversary party at Colleen's...what a great time! When I was a kid, Uncle Bill seemed like one of the sweetest...and tallest....people I'd ever seen. And, he and Aunt Elenor... a match made in heaven. Mom and I visited Uncle Bill at St. Camillus a while ago. It was so good to see him! The "Berry Men" have such a distinctive look...those pale blue eyes, etc....he and my Dad (aka Uncle Paul) looked a lot alike as older men, despite their differences in ages and height! I am so sorry that this time has come. God bless you and keep you. Love, Susan
