To the family of Robert,I am sorry to hear of Roberts passing away last Feb. I have worked with Bob in the past and had been on the road with him in Delaware,he was always a cheerful brother, and I consider him a fellow brother, and he always kept me at bay,I seen him last when working at the prison,we had a few good laughs and when seeing each other gave a nod in recognition of each other, when he considered running for B.A., I made phone calls on his behalf,It was better in the long run he did,nt run, although I think he would have made a great B.A., once again please except my heart filled condolences,Bob has always been a stand up fellow in my eyes as with others I am sure, once again my condolences,Tony LaPorte

Though Bob and I lost touch over the years, he was often in my thoughts over the years. We grew up together on Riverview Parkway North, and cut our teeth at Wright Hazelton Park and along the banks of the Mohawk River. We drank our first beer in his basement (well, my first beer!) and if I recall we were together the night he met Lori. I bragged about his athletic accomplishments to my friends, and distinctly remember when he bench-pressed 300 lbs in the old RFA weight room. At one time he held the section record for the shot put, and was an all state center for the football team. Despite all that, he was the most modest, unassuming guy in the world. Lori, Gabrielle, Bob was one-in-a-million. I will miss him.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Lori, Gabrielle, and the family for your loss. We've lost a great friend to so many people, and you've lost a loving husband, father, and friend. I'll never forget the times at the softball field, and the love he had for his family. God Bless you all. Frank Anderson
