Obituary of Faith M. Clark

Faith MacDonald Clark, 70, who grew up in Jefferson, Maine, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2010, at her home in Rome, New York. She was born December 3, 1939, in Milton, MA, and moved to the "Pine Tree" state as a small child. Faith was the daughter of Marian MacDonald Graffam and former Maine Secretary of State and District Court Judge, Paul A. MacDonald. A 1957 graduate of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, ME, and the Stevens School of the Bible in 1980, she taught at Rome Community Christian School for many years, before retiring. Faith is survived by her husband of 52 years, Theodore Clark, Sr.; a brother, Maj. Glenn B. MacDonald, USAR (Ret); a daughter, Kimberly Pruitt; and sons, Wesley Clark and Theodore Clark, Jr.; and five grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, Samuel, Kendall and Kaitlyn. She was predeceased by her parents, Marian Graffam and the Hon. Paul A. MacDonald, and a sister, Joyce MacDonald Reed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 2:00 PM, at the New Beginnings Community Church, 5963 Sleepy Hollow Road, Rome, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Friday, October 22, 2010, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care.
