Emma Louise Civiok, age 92, formerly of the Town of Lee, passed away peacefully, August 28, 2010, in Tucson, AZ. She was born April 13, 1918, in Florence, NY, a daughter of Stanley and Rose McClusky Schram. Emma was united in marriage to Adolph Civiok on December 6, 1941; he died June 25, 1992. She was formerly employed at the Rome CNYDSO, retirng in 1992. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center, NY, and the Lee Seniors. She was a member of the Golden Age Club #1 in Tucson, AZ. Emma enjoyed taking "Ship Cruises" and cherished all the friends she made over the years. Emma is survived by a daughter and son in law, Carol and Lee Bartlett of Tucson, AZ; a son and duaghter in law, Richard and Mary Ann Civiok of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Patricia Rommel and her husband, Darren, and Richard Civiok and his wife, Renee; great grandchildren, Emily, Amber, Ricky, Rachel, Reese and Ryan. She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, John G. Schram, Frank J. Schram, Clara Gorski, Mary Kowalski, Leon S. Schram, Gertrude M. Lyndon, Helen Marks and Margaret Johnson, and step great grandson, Mitchel Buckley. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
