Beverly J. Baran, age 83, of Rome, passed away peacefully, on May 18, 2019, with her family at her side.
She was born April 13, 1936, in West Lee, a daughter of the late, Harold and Bernice Fox Wallace. Beverly was united in marriage to Daniel Baran on June 30, 1956, in Rome. She formerly was a bus driver for Birnie Bus Service.
Beverly loved the outdoors and was known for her beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed the many camping trips with her husband, Dan, as they traveled from Maine to the tip of Florida.
Her many other hobbies included crafting.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Daniel; a sister, Shirley Boiko of Rome, sister in law, Dawn Wallace of Point Rock; and nieces, Holly, Robin and Wendy. She was predeceased by a sister, Alice Wallace and two brothers, Harold Jr, and Robert Wallace.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM, at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
