Nadine Hope Westcott, age 52, of Palm Beach, FL, and formerly of Rome, departed this life on Thursday, August 13, 2009, after struggling with the debilitating disease of Scleroderma. She was born in Rome, a daughter of Howard and Janice Elaine Meyers. Nadine is married to Carl Westcott, Jr. She retired from Rite Aid Distribution Center and relocated to Florida, where she was happily employed at Osler Medical. Nadine is survived by her loving husband, Carl ; daughters, Josette McLean (Alex Rodriguez) of NY, Heather Manna (John) of FL, and Eva Westcott (Paul Evanciew) of NY; a son, Carl Westcott III of Fl; her father, Howard Meyers; in-laws, Carl and Kay Westcott of NY; grandmother, Genevieve Meyers of NY; sisters, Denise LaSalle, Darla Kiefer (Dave), Hope Brooks (Greg), and a brother, James Meyers all of NY; and 10 loving grandchildren of FL and NY. Also, there are many people who walked in and out of her life as true friends and left footprints in her heart. She was predeceased by her mother, Janice Elaine Meyers. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 8:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday 4 to 8 PM, prior to the memorial service.
