Obituary of James Chadwick Cable

James C. Cable, age 54, of Rome, passed away February 24, 2015, at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Norwalk, CT, to Harold E. and Dorothy Cable. James was married to Kathy Cable. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1995. James is survived by a daughter and son in law, Jenny and Bob Darnley of Charlotte, NC; a son and daughter in law, Nathan and Carolina Cable of Lake Worth, FL; his mother Dorothy Cable of Medford, MA; sister and a brother in law, Gillian and David Cable-Murphy of Melrose, MA, and sister Victoria C. Cable of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother and sister in law, Christopher and Ayris Cable-Cheval of Pierce, NE; grandchildren, Fin Cable and Reagan Darnley; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harold E. Cable. A celebration of James' life will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
