I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked at Varflex for 15 years, until 2004. (I quit there to take a job with the state.) I always admired Dorothy. she was always very fair with her employees, and business people, and willing to go the extra mile for them. She will be greatly missed.

We knew Dorothy through the Snite Museum of Art Advisory Council at Notre Dame. What a lovely, fun, interesting woman! It was our pleasure to visit with her at those meetings. We know she will be sorely missed by family and friends but what a legacy she left. Our condolences to her family and many, many friends. Tom and Mary Gerry Lee

The Rome Community has lost one of its shining stars. Dorothy was one of the most generous individuals I have ever known. Her care and compassion for those less fortunate was the hallmark of her life. How fortunate for all of us that we had the benefit of a century of this wonderful lady.
