Jannine Fosnaugh Mazuzan, wife of Lt Col. (Ret.) Thomas J. Mazuzan, passed away on February 18, 2015, at Rome Memorial Hospital. Jannine was born on November 4, 1932 in Columbus, OH to the late Emerson M. and Margaret Chinn Fosnaugh. She was married to Thomas J. Mazuzan at Ellington A.F.B. in Houston, TX on June 19, 1954. She graduated from Ohio State University, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Moving to the Rome area in 1970, Jannine was Past President of the Griffiss A.F.B. Officers' Wives Club and its Catholic Ladies Guild. She was a member of P.E.O. and the Wednesday Morning Club. Jannine is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas; three daughters and sons in law, Cathy and Ronald Newman of Utica, Megan and Todd McCullough of Auburn, ME, and Erin and Bruce Bowen of Holland Patent; a son, Matt Mazuzan of Auburn, ME; ten grandchildren and 12 great, grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Beth Mazuzan Wilcox. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family wishes to thank Dr. Potluri and the ICU staff at Rome Memorial Hospital. Contributions in Jannine's name may be made to the Rome Humane Society.
