Obituary of Carlisle I. Konik
Carlisle I. Konik, age 73, of Ava, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021.
She was born in Utica, the daughter of Harley and Barbara LaQuay Cummings, and educated in Holland Patent schools. Carlisle was united in marriage to Richard Konik, on October 29, 1988, in the Westernville United Methodist Church. She formerly worked as a Nurse Assistant and Physical Therapy Aide at Rome Memorial Hospital, retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Lee American Legion Auxiliary.
Carlisle is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, Earl Dibble and Karen Maszczak of Williamsburg, VA, and Shane Dibble and Heather Pawlak of Westernville; granddaughter, Harley Dibble of Williamsburg, Va, and grandson, Evan Dibble; and lifelong friend, Jamie Anson-Stroschein. She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth LaQuay
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Westernville Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM, prior to the funeral service.
