John "Johnny" F. Wagner, Jr., age 31, of Rome, was received into his grandmother's arms in Heaven on August 26, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Johnny was born in Rome on October 3, 1989 to John Wagner and Jacqueline Gilboy, and graduated from Rome Free Academy. He enjoyed fishng and playing softball, and he was currently playing for Westside Connections 315. 

Johnny is survived by his mother and step father, Jackie (DJ) Tennant; his children, Victoria "Tori", Kaileb "KK", and Austin "Aussie"; his siblings, Cheyanne (Richard) Farda, Ashley (David) Wagner, Shari Andrews, C.J. Andrews, Nicholas Tennant, Matthew Tennant, and Donald Tennant, Jr.; a special sister, Sissy Rienzo; the love of his life, Tracy Brewster; many neices and nephews; special friend, Bee; and his cat and dog, Milo and Roxy. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Barbara Gilboy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 2, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday September 2, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
