Obituary of Patricia A. Westcott

Patricia A. Westcott, age 83, of the Town of Floyd, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2021, at the Sunset Nursing Home in Boonville.

Patricia was born in Rome on May 30, 1938 to the late Willard and Tecla Tarapas Peek, and graduated from Holland Patent. On May 10, 1958, she was united in marriage to Theal E. Westcott; a blessed union of 53 years until his passing on May 25, 2011. Patricia worked for RDC as a cook. She loved to travel and visit with family and friends which usually included an item that she cooked herself.

Patricia is survived by her brother, Tom (Penny) Peek; sisters in law, Janette Peek and Vivian Peek; nieces and nephews, Christopher whom is also her godson, Stephen, Casey (Sherri) Jenny, Michael (Nina), David (Michelle); great nieces and nephews, Cordelia, Nathan, and Sadie; and her goddaughter, Mary (Rick) Douglas. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stanley, Billy, John, and George Peek; and a great niece, Sarah.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM, at St. Leo’s and St. Ann’s Church in Holland Patent. Burial will be in St. George’s Cemetery, Whitesboro.

Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
