I FIRST MET ANNIE WHEN SHE HAD THE UNIFORM SHOP BY THE UPTOWN THEATRE. I NEEDED NEW NURSES SHOES AND KNEW MY SIZE SO I TOOK THE BOX OF THE BRND I WORE INT HE RIGHT SIZE AND WENT TO THE REGISTER TO PAY FOR THEM. SHE INSISTED THAT I TRY THEM ON AND WALK AROUND A BIT BEFORE I PAY FOR THEM, BECAUSE SOMETIMES THERE IS JUST ENOUGH DIFFERENCE IN THE SHOES THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE COMFORTABLE. WELL I DID AS SHE ASKED, AND SURE ENOUGH THE PAIR I SELECTED WAS RUBBING MY HEEL. SHE KNEW HER BUSINESS, HER PRODUCTS, AND HER CUSTOMERS. AND WITH HER SMILE AND LOVELY ANF SINCERE CARING FOR HER CUSTOMERS YOU COULD NOT HELP BUT LOVE THAT WOMAN IN RETURN. YEARS PASSED, I MOVED OUT OF STATE, AND WHEN I CAME BACK AND BECAME A RESIDENT AT POUNDER HALL WHO SHOULD I SEE RIGHT ON THE SAME FLOOR AS ME....ANNIE!!!! REST IN PEACE DEAR ANNIE.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. Take comfort in knowing that our heavenly Creator will soon remove all pain, sorrow, and death forever! May this promise as recorded in Revelation 21:3,4 be of comfort as you gain the inner peace and strength to cope with the days ahead. Philippians 4:13.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I had the pleasure of knowing Ann when she was a resident at Pounder Hall in Oriskany. I was the one who served her meals to her in the dining room. I enjoyed her and loved her like she was a part of my family. She is at peace now. Diane
