Obituary of Beverly J. Miller
Beverly J. Miller, age 78, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
Beverly was born in the Town of Vienna, New York on August 27, 1942 to the late Herbert and Dorothy LaBarr Taylor, and educated in the Camden Schools. On July 1, 1978, she was united in marriage to Elwood “Woody” Miller, in Rome. She worked as a cook at Sarge’s Restaurant. She loved to cook and socialize with people. She also opened The 3T’s restaurant in Rome. For many years, she ran the concession stand at Lee Town Park. The kids and parents loved her famous deserts and homemade food.
Beverly loved going on adventures and whenever you’d get in a car with her, there was no telling where you’d end up. She loved feeding the birds and squirrels that would frequent her home.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Woody; three daughters, Tammy (Brian Scully) Pecci of Westernville, Trisha (Michael Sr.) Paolillo of Rome, and Michelle Brummel of Norwich; grandchildren, Joshua (Becky) Haley, Taylor Haley, Michael Paolillo Jr., and Emily, Jonathan, and Ryan Brummel; step daughter, Sandra Miller of Somerset, PA; two step sons, Daniel (Debbie) Miller of VA, and Steven (Bre) Miller of VA; a sister in law, Alice Taylor of Elpis, NY; and many loving nieces and nephews. She loved her grand dogs, Ella, Razor and Riley. She was predeceased by her daughters, Cindy Lou Welch, Donna Marie Welch, and Terry Duell; a sister, Shirley Treen; and her brother, Robert Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland, NY.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service. Those attending must have a face covering and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
